In this podcast recorded at RSA Conference 2012, Anup Ghosh, CEO of Invincea, tells us how security hasn't advanced much in the past decade from a technology point of view.

At the same time, virtualization emerged as a key technology that enabled the compartmentalization of untrusted content.

The challenges is to architect solutions that can separate the untrusted content users come into contact with, from trusted desktops and networks.

Anup Ghosh, Ph.D., is the founder and CEO of Invincea. Ghosh was previously Senior Scientist and Program Manager in the Strategic Technology Office of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) where he managed an extensive portfolio of information assurance and information operations programs.

Prior to DARPA, Ghosh served as Vice President of Research at Cigital, Inc. and as principal investigator on contracts from DARPA, NSA, and NIST’s Advanced Technology Program. He has written more than 40 peer-reviewed conference and journal articles. Ghosh is also author of three books on computer network defense.
