| The nation’s and state’s increasing dependency on information technology requires greater diligence in managing and protecting our critical infrastructures. Post-9/11, there seems to be a greater appreciation for how much information security means not only to each individual enterprise but also to the economy itself and to society as a whole. ConSec ’03 “Preserving the Infrastructure” will focus on how the government and private sector work together to share information and be more cognitive of information security so that our nation's critical infrastructures remain protected and secure. Starting with opening keynote speaker, Dr. John S. Parker on Tuesday, September 16th and closing with a speech on Physical Security with an Alert Workforce, the conference will provide top notch, quality experts in the areas of business continuity planning, IT audit, and information security. The symposium will offer breakout sessions in the three areas, keynote addresses by nationally recognized industry experts, vendor exhibits showcasing cutting-edge products and services, and post-conference workshops. |
